The VPW Veloprobes are made of Stainless Steel and are welded. They are suitable for high tempertature i.e. 300°C. They are used to measure the velocity pressure in almost any duct type such as round, oval, rectangular or square and any duct size from 500mm to up to 2900 mm. They provide a stabil and accurate airvolume measurement when used in conjunction with the P-Sensor or any CMR Transmitter and ready to be used by the BMS or Scada system for air volume control, monitoring and alarming. The VPS Veloprobes are manufactured in 50mm length increments to suit any installation configuration. They are easily installed by drilling two 25.4mm holes on either side of the duct and securing them with four flanges and gasgets to the duct wall. They are the most popular velocity probes for 40 years and are ideal for retrofit or new installations. They are made to measure and the packing can contain the Site Tag numbers for easy installation identification.
