CMR is the manufacturer and designer of the popular Veloprobes. All veloprobes are made to measure. They are made completely of stainless steel which means, measuring sensor pipe, connection nipples and flanges and can be supplied for ducts up to 3m x 3m. Larger ducts can be accomodated by using 50mm diameter pipe on request. The veloprobes are easily installed in new or retro-fit installations and only four 25.5 mm holes have to be cut into the duct so that the veloprobes can be mounted in the air stream to provide a differential pressure. The probes can be fitted in any position except after a controlling damper or a duct T- Piece. The veloprobes can be turned within the flange to adjust to suit the direction of airflow. The veloprobes can be made in welded construction with compression fittings to suit high temperatures and nuclear applications. They can be epoxy, Teflon or PUR coated.
