CMR is the manufacturer and designer of the popular Veloprobes. All veloprobes are made to measure. They are made completely of stainless steel which means, measuring sensor pipe, connection nipples and flanges and can be supplied for ducts up to 2900mm in height or width. L = 1000 means the dimension between the flanges, it would suit a 1000mm duct. The flanges can be moved +/- 50mm to adjust to the duct size. The probes are made in 50mm increments so that they can be insulated by the lagger to not to be exposed to condensation.

The veloprobes are easily installed in new or retro-fit installations and only four 26 mm holes have to be cut into the duct so that the veloprobes can be mounted in the air stream to provide a differential pressure.

The probes can be fitted in any position except after a controlling damper or a duct T- Piece. The veloprobes can be turned within the flange to adjust to suit the direction of airflow. As an optional extra, the veloprobes can be made in welded construction with compression fittings to suit high temperatures and nuclear applications. They can also be epoxy, Teflon or PUR coated.
